Competence Balance of young Roma for recording, assessing, acknowledging and developing their non-formally and informally acquired competences

SHORT PROJECT DESCRIPTION

With 10 to 12 million members, the Roma are the biggest ethnic minority in Europe. A relevant reason for their permanent discrimination is their low education level. Therefore, the disadvantages are particularly obvious in the education sector. After the project, young Roma will be provided with tools for their professional orientation, career planning and the raising of their employability due to the methods and procedures of the French Model of Competence Balance.
